Bespoke Hair and Beauty in Barrow will be shutting up shop in Crellin Street, it has been announced.

The salon will be permanently closed as Bespoke Hair and Beauty from March 1.

Owner Becca Davies has run the business for the last six years and said she would be ‘forever grateful’ for the public support.

In a post shared online, she said: “It is with a smile on my face that I make this announcement after lots of consideration I have decided to close Bespoke Hair Salon.

“Last year I began the biggest role in my life being a mother and quickly realised this is where my heart lies and where I need to be.

“Working two days a week within my own business is not giving the salon the best of me and I’m not one for doing things by halves.

“I’ve had some wonderful years owning the salon since 2017 and will be forever grateful for the support Bespoke has received by the public.”

Owners hinted there may be plans for the salon in the near future which are yet to be announced.

Becca said: “The salon has a bright future ahead of it yet to be announced in the near future which I could not be happier for.

“I will be continuing my hairdressing journey with the wonderful team at Coco Hair and Beauty, Barrow located on Dalton Road from March 1.

“Jennie Hargreaves will be working from Zest Hair and Beauty located on Bowness Road, Barrow from March 1

“Once again thank you to all the clients that have supported Bespoke’s journey the past six years – I will be forever grateful.”

Just think of how hopeless we’d be if the ships didn’t come in and our nation lost its supply of cheap footwear.

To me, that little shop is a symbol of something very important.  It is a window into a rapidly disappearing world of self-reliance, resourcefulness, and a philosophy of understanding value.

In a throw-away world of easy-come easy-go, Jerry’s shoe repair shop invites us to consider otherwise.

The Vanderpump Rules star, 37, sported a stylish all-black ensemble as she strutted the streets only a few days after the season 10 premiere of her show.

Her form-fitting top was cropped just below her chest, showing off her toned stomach.

It featured long sleeves and a high neckline that created a sleek yet stylish silhouette.

For pants, she went with a pair of leggings, which were tucked into knee-high lace-up black boots.
