The Fleabag writer and performer, 38, wore a pink three-piece suit to attend the nuptials of Jasper Waller-Bridge, 35, and Dockery, 41, on Saturday at St Nicholas’ church in Chiswick, West London.

And on her ring finger, she wore a sparkling diamond ring for the first time in pictures published by the Mail Online.

She has been dating playwright McDonagh, 53, since 2017.

They made their first public appearance in October of that year.

The English-Irish playwright is a star in his own right, having written Oscar-winning movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, as well as Seven Psychopaths and In Bruges.

Waller-Bridge, who keeps her private life out of the public eye, called her partner a “genius” in a recent interview.

“It’s really useful being with someone who I think is a genius, it just ups your game,” she told Vanity Fair.

“I would always have wanted Martin McDonagh to think of my work as good, whether I was with him or not. I will find out now, either way!”

Waller-Bridge has been married before – tying the knot to Irish presenter and documentary filmmaker Conor Woodman in 2014. By 2017, they had separated and filed for divorce.

Waller-Bridge was most recently the star of  Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny, alongside Harrison Ford in his last outing as the action star, plus Mads Mikkelsen and Toby Jones.

Dockery’s Downton co-stars – including Joanne Froggatt, Elizabeth McGovern, Hugh Bonneville, Lesley Manville and Lesley Nicol – were in attendance at the wedding.

What Is a Lab-Grown Diamond?: Lab-Grown vs. Natural Diamonds

Image no longer available

For people who want to get married, the diamond engagement ring is a tale as old as time—and advertisers and media companies alike make the rather expensive tradition seem inescapable. The slogans from South African diamond behemoth De Beers speak for themselves:

“A diamond is forever.”

“Is two months’ salary too much to spend for something that lasts forever?”

More From Popular Mechanics

“Show her youll love her for the next thousand years.”

On top of it, the marketplace for diamonds can be really confusing. There are grades of clarity and color that lead to an overall quality rating. And, of course, diamonds are very expensive. The International Gem Society reports that the average amount spent on a diamond ring in 2021 was $5,000. (At the iconic jewelry store Tiffany’s, a budget of $5,000 barely gets you into the diamonds, let alone the showy single diamonds people prefer on engagement rings.)

All of these reasons have driven consumer interest in lab-grown diamonds, and in lab-grown diamond engagement rings in particular. So, we spoke to an expert from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to learn everything you need to know about lab-grown diamonds—the production methods, the colors, the intangibles, and more. They say lab-grown diamond rings can cost up to 20 percent less than natural diamonds, which would knock that $5,000 ring down to $4,000. It’s not a Black Friday doorbuster percentage of discount, but that’s a lot of money to save.

Lab-Grown Diamonds vs. Natural Diamonds

Sally Magaña is a research scientist and the manager of diamond identification for the Carlsbad, California-based GIA, which now has locations around the world; the GIA creates and upholds standards and education for jewelers around the world. Today, one of its key concerns is telling apart lab-grown diamonds from natural diamonds,

Selena Gomez was dripping in diamond jewelry at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday, September 12.

The multi-talented singer, who won a Moonman in the Best Afrobeats category alongside Rema, wore a custom Oscar de la Renta dress to the event, featuring ruby-red floral beading. Her Pasquale Bruni diamond jewelry was perfectly paired with her gown, and its statement floral shapes were breathtaking.

Gomez’s 18K gold rings were from the Italian designer’s Giardini Segreti collection. One of the five-petal styles we identified on her fingers runs up to $27,350, each leaf covered in hundreds of small diamonds. While the style isn’t what we’d call budget-friendly, that doesn’t mean you can’t channel it. This Kokoma ring from Amazon will help you nail the look!

‘Is my husband the cheapest man in America?’ We only eat out on our anniversary.

My husband never goes out, and he only reluctantly takes holidays — except if we stay in a cabin in the mountains, and even then he doesn’t see why we should be paying for our mortgage and paying to rent somewhere else too. He has never bought me a single piece of jewelry in my life. However, we both agreed before marrying that a diamond engagement ring was a waste of money.

He does all his shopping at big-box stores, buys in bulk and wears clothes until they are worn through. He doesn’t use social media. From time to time we will go out to eat for an early-bird menu — on special occasions like our anniversary. The most ironic part about this whole thing? He’s an accountant! It beggars belief.

‘He does all his shopping at big-box stores, buys in bulk and wears clothes until they are worn through. He doesn’t use social media.’

My husband works in IT and earns $90,000 a year. I am a teacher, and I earn $65,000 a year. We have a comfortable life. We have no children, and our monthly mortgage payment is $1,600. We are about halfway through the lifetime of our loan. We both have retirement accounts, and we are on track to have a comfortable life after we finally retire.

We have a good relationship, and we are in this for the long haul. I go out with my girlfriends when I need excitement, and my husband stays home with our dog, watching golf and cooking shows. He bakes cakes as a way of relaxing. But I wish we did more together, and if he made me feel special from time to time with a necklace or a bunch of flowers, that would

Pandora Proclaims ‘Diamonds For All’ By Expanding Its Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry Range

With the global jewelry market in retreat, Pandora just delivered a solid second-quarter performance, with organic revenues up 5% to $850 million and like-for-like (LFL) revenues advancing 2%. This brought first-half revenues up 3.5% over the previous year to $1.7 billion.

Having expected challenges in fiscal 2023, Pandora initially guided on a -2% to +3% change in revenues this year, but given its strong performance so far, it raised guidance to between +2% to +5% by year-end.

“We outperformed the market,” CEO Alexander Lacik shared with me after the earnings call. “There’s a lot of uncertainty out there, with the Ukraine war, rising interest rates and consumer sentiment dropping like a stone. It’s a fact that people have less disposable income to go around, so against those macros, we showed sequential improvement.”

And Lacik is counting on that sequential improvement to pick up pace through the rest of the year after it drops three new collections of lab-grown diamond jewelry into the U.S., Canada, Australia and U.K. markets, with Mexico and Brazil to follow in time for holiday.

The new range includes rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces and for the first time, it is presenting lab-grown diamonds in its flagship charms, what the company calls the “universe that is at the heart of Pandora.”

“We have over 600 million customers coming to our stores and website every year and we know the vast majority of them are very interested in buying a diamond but can’t afford mined diamonds. That’s where Pandora

This Lab-Grown Diamond Ring *Totally* Changed My Jewelry Game

All right, I have a tiny confession to make: I have not always been the classic solitaire ring’s biggest fan. Not for lack of appreciation (I am borderline obsessed with gemology) but rather because my personal style has tended to steer me toward non-traditional silhouettes and styles—my engagement ring is a signet, if that helps paint a picture.

At its core, each piece of jewelry is wildly individual. The meaning assigned to a gemstone is personal and unique, as is the way it’s styled into your wardrobe. This rang especially true when a certain ring entered my orbit and completely changed my POV on the solitare style. This, my friends, was not just any ordinary solitaire style, it was Pandora’s Nova 14k White Gold 1.00 Carat TW Lab-Grown Diamond Ring.

I’ll get into the various bits and bobs that make this luxe ring so amaze in a moment, but on a more general note I was delighted and surprised by how easy it was to incorporate into my daily rotation. The moment I slipped this round brilliant lab-grown diamond onto my right hand, I was shook by how good it made me feel. Confident! Chic! Ready to hail a cab! It was—not to be totally cliché—love at first wear. Lately I’ve been layering it with a slim hammered-gold band, which feels aligned with my vibe (we love a mixed-metals moment).

So whether you’re in the market for an engagement style or you find joy in sporting a lab-grown diamond ring for ~any ole day~, keep scrolling for the details on this gorge forever jewelry.

Antiques Roadshow guest claims ‘never taking it off’ after diamond rings staggering value | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Antiques Roadshow expert Joanna Hardy left her guest speechless when she valued her mother’s diamond ring, which was rolled up in a sock, at a staggering amount.

As the show came to an end, the guest and her daughter caught up with Joanna where she noted: “You weren’t going to come to my table, were you?”

The guest confessed: “We weren’t actually. We passed by you and realised there was no queue.

“We thought, well actually, my daughter said ‘That’s a jewellery place, shall we show her the ring?’ I said ‘Why not?’.”

Joanna asked: “So tell me the story behind this,” to which the guest revealed: “The ring was my mums, we’re pretty sure it was given to her by my late grandfather.

“We were helping her, we were clearing out stuff, and in the sock drawer we stumbled upon this ring that was wrapped in a sock.”

Gasping in shock, Joanna quipped: “No, I don’t believe that,” leaving the guest to confirm: “Yes, it really was.”

Thinking of the worst-case scenario, Joanna added: “I mean it could have gone in the washing machine.”

The guest went on: “It could have, we could have bundled everything up. When I said ‘Mum, is this your ring?’ and she said ‘Oh yeah, I kept it in there so I didn’t lose it’.”

Joanna began to take a closer look at the ring and revealed: “It is absolutely superb, made in platinum, it’s about 1915, the diamond is what we call a transitional cut.

“It’s softer… really soft look about it. You’ve got the facets but nothing is sharp, the modern brilliant cut, to me, is quite brash but this has such an air of sophistication.

“It is nearly a full carat, so it’s a really large size. The clarity,
