Kate Bosworth Flashes Diamond Ring as She Makes Red Carpet Debut With Justin Long

Kate Bosworth and Justin Long made their red carpet debut as a couple on Sunday at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party — but that’s not what made onlookers turn their heads.

Bosworth and Long made their arrival in coordinating black tie looks, with Long keeping things traditional in a black tux, while his lady wore a flowing black-and-cream gown. However, Bosworth had another accessory, a diamond ring on that finger.

While posing with her love, Bosworth showed of the diamond rock, which was the only piece of jewelry on her hands. At no time did she or Long mention an engagement.

ET has reached out to Bosworth’s rep regarding the engagement speculation.

Long, 44, and Bosworth’s outing comes after the Barbarian actorbirthday-tribute-to-girlfriend-kate-bosworth-196666″ data-ylk=”slk:penned a sweet message;elm:context_link;itc:0″ class=”link rapid-noclick-resp”penned a sweet message to Bosworth in honor of her 40th birthday in January.

In the post, Long gave a shout-out to the Blue Crush actress, saying, “She is also the best part of my day, everyday – even when we’re not together.”

“She’s fiercely committed to the truth. She’s so fun to work with. She’s the most fun to do everything with. She is genuinely curious about people and the world. She makes everything in my life better – all my favorite songs and movies, vacations and sunsets and Chinese food,” Long continued.

“She strives to be better but she’s the best person I know. She will do anything for her friends. She is so generous she makes my parents slightly uncomfortable around the holidays (she also makes the best cookies). She is the most beautiful human being I’ve ever seen. She is purely good. She will stand up to anyone who isn’t. She has true integrity and grit. She has, by far, my favorite smile,” he added.

Kate Bosworth’s Diamond Ring Fuels Engagement Rumors

Over a year into their relationship, Kate Bosworth and Justin Long officially made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on March 12. Wearing a chic plunging gown by Monique Lhuillier, the “Blue Crush” actor smiled for the cameras with her hand on Long’s chest, offering a view of her massive diamond ring. Though reps for the actors have not confirmed their engagement, it sure looks like the couple is headed toward the aisle.

On March 15, Bosworth seemed to reference the news on Instagram alongside film photos from the Oscars afterparty. Among a list of credits that included Long and her glam team for bringing her beautiful look to life, she thanked her nail artist Ashlie Johnson for her “most important manicure to date.” Johnson also referenced Bosworth’s “new bling” in a post of her own, further hinting at an engagement.

Bosworth’s ring appears to be a classic, round-cut diamond set on a thin silver band. The sparkler is estimated to be about 10 carats and valued at $500,000, according to diamond expert Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro. “A diamond of this size is incredibly rare,” he told POPSUGAR. Bosworth has yet to share a close-up of the round-cut diamond, known as a traditional shape that never goes out of style.

The new accessory complemented Bosworth’s regal gown, which featured a black velvet corset and a floor-length pale pink skirt from the designer’s fall 2023 collection. Coincidentally, Lhuillier is known for her exquisite bridal wear, so perhaps the two are subtly offering a hint at a collaboration in the future. Styled by Samantha McMillen, Bosworth finished the minimalist look with Cicada jewels, including a ring on her right hand and diamond earrings.
