Did you miss her? After much anticipation, Zendaya finally arrived at the NAACP Image Awards on Feb. 25, and her plunging Versace Couture dress was well worth the wait. The “Euphoria” star truly outdid herself in a breathtaking black gown with a bright green bustier top. The look — styled by her fashion partner in crime, Law Roach, was lined with lime-colored stripes and featured a voluminous train and daring leg slit straight down the middle.
Zendaya styled her bob haircut with voluminous side-swept waves, closed-toe heels, and a classic black manicure. She added some sparkle with Bulgari jewelry, including a diamond bracelet, earrings, and a large diamond ring. This look is the first we’ve seen from Zendaya in a while following a small absence due to her busy schedule. Seeing as she’s nominated for entertainer of the year at the NAACP Image Awards, she needed an outfit that measured up to the title.
This masterpiece wasn’t the only one Zendaya debuted during the show. Later in the night, she changed into a white two-piece set to present the award for outstanding motion picture on stage. The monochromatic set, which Roach plucked from Prada’s spring 1993 collection, included a bikini-esque top with star-shaped cutouts that matched the waistband cutouts of her silky maxi skirt. She completed the outfit with white pointed-toe pumps and diamond teardrop earrings.
Through the years, Zendaya has built a reputation for her red carpet style, previously stepping out in everything from a glow-in-the-dark dress at the 2021 Oscars to a magical Cinderella interpretation at the 2019 Met Gala. While fans may never know exactly what to expect when she steps out, they can always count on the actor to come up with something they’ll remember the next day. Read on to see both of
