She also said MeT is a community concern program where elders of the community come together and spend some quality time. Following this, the volunteers of the MeT will host some entertainment programs for the elders such as dance, music, drama and along with tea and snacks.
This club is open to everyone, and there is no admission fee. It’s all about fun and loads of care, she added.
72-year-old Jayalakshmi, said, “I was working in ITI for 40 years but now staying at home all alone doing every household chore is painful and boring at this age. I am very thankful that this club has given me so much energy by attending the programme which is one day a month and I will be charged with zeal and energy until the next meeting. And truly thankful for this social initiative and am so happy to attend this program.”
